ITW Plant tour with guest speaker:
Mr. Richard (Dick) Tracy

ACIDO members were treated to a really inspiring evening
by the two combined events. The tour of ITW’s
Concord plant provided a first-hand view of the manufacture
of a variety of plastic injection molded parts. In the
second part, Dick Tracy, inventor of the original SR1
- Side Release Buckle shared stories of his colourful
life and events that have led to several of his innovative
designs.

TorontoFollowing the unparalleled success of ROCKET
2005, plans are already under way a “Best of ROCKET
2005” show at the Design Exchange in the Chalmers
Design Centre. This show will include all of the award
winner’s and honourable mention’s projects.
