Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is a sleeping disorder where the tongue muscle falls to the back of the throat, causing the person to wake up, grasping for air. This can occur very frequently during the
night, leaving the person suffering from daytime sleepiness.

The diagnosis OSA is usually performed as an overnight stay in a sleep clinic. It includes a full polysomnograph test which monitors vital signs with up to 25 wired sensors and electrodes. The patient's setup is time consuming, it does not reflect the patient's environment or sleep routine, it is costly on the healthcare system, and it is limited by long waiting lists.

The project consists of a home diagnosis screening system of OSA that is easy to use, analyze and maintain. It benefits both the patients and the healthcare system. The patient can self-install the system and
sleep in the comfort of his/her own bedroom.
