Ross started in the sporting goods industry in sales, and later was responsible for associate training at Sporting Life before transitioning into a career in buying. With over 20 years of buying experience covering a wide range of categories including skis, snowboards, eyewear, racquets, in line skates, and bicycles Ross has a reputation for spotting emerging trends. Ross has been a frequent retail advisory board and focus group member helping to steer product direction for such brands as Salomon, Burton Snowboards and Rocky Mountain Bicycles. From seeing firsthand how many of the world's best products are manufactured, to shopping trade shows internationally, Ross is keenly aware of the complex path that precedes a products evolution to the marketplace.

Ross is an avid snowboarder, cyclist, skier, and motorcyclist.
