Skateboarding
is becoming ever more popular with adolescent
kids. The fast progression of this aggressive
sport means an increase in both minor and severe
injuries, especially when protective gear is
not worn. The purpose of my Project is to gain
an understanding of the culture that drives
skateboarding, identify why youth don’t
like to wear protective gear, and create an
acceptable marketable solution to this problem.
