Glissade
is a multimedia costume system for an on-ice
Winterlude performance. Using motion sensors
in the wrists and ankles, Glissade takes the
dancers’ movements and translates them
into a light and sound show that appeals to
the wide variety of Winterlude visitors.
Consisting of three parts - an outer costume,
an insulating skeleton, and technology pods
- Glissade provides dynamic and adaptive entertainment
that can be reused year after year.
