The
value of this project is to expand an idea generating
process to fit into various cultural backgrounds
and needs. The workshop creates synergy between
groups of people within a culture. It also invites
people who are not among the targeted culture
to objectively view the process. This presents
them with the opportunity to explore core cultural
values hidden among a culture they are unfamiliar
with.
The Jung Workshop enhances the innovative idea
generating process to be suitable for Korean
culture. This workshop can be modified and used
in a variety of settings, (e.g. business). Further,
it bridges the intergenerational gap with an
emphasis based around respect, breaks down a
hierarchical structure with collaboration, and
maximizes the ability to express ideas.
