Terence Woodside is a trained
Engineer with a keen interest
in health and wellness products.
Terence first gained valuable
medical experience in the
Biomechanics department at
Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto
where he worked in R&D,
developing and testing implants
for the knee, hip, wrist and
spine.
Terence then moved on to the
cost-conscious world of automotive
where he worked at Alfield
as a Tool and Die designer
and production line specialist,
ensuring efficacy and accuracy
throughout the processes.
During this time, Terence
developed a critically acclaimed
suspension system for mountain
biking and his patented system
led to the revolutionary suspension
on Honda’s Rune motorcycle.
After leaving his mark on
the automotive industry, Terence
moved onto furniture design
at Teknion Furniture, Toronto.
Each product Terence participated
in or project-led won an award,
including an IDSA (Industrial
Design Society of America)/
Business Week Award for the
Teknion Avion Workstation
and the Gold Design Award
at NEOcon for the new Teknion
XM System.
Terence currently is the senior
engineer for Cooler Solutions
Inc where he has worked on
the design of a variety of
medical products.
