The customizable sectional sofa system allows user’s to define personal preferences through the use of environmentally sensitive materials to create style and comfort to last a lifetime. The design is comprised of 3 components-an armrest, backrest and base frame. The backrest integrates seamlessly into the back feet through a dovetail joint and a slot and groove detail. The wooden frame uses 3-way mitre joints and features a chamfered edge detail. The base frame has unique notched slots which act as connection points for both the armrest and for connecting 2 frames together-both using simple aluminum brackets which clip on the frame. The various different configurations that can be achieved, means the user can change the style as often as they like without changing the sofa.
